Food…and a prize

Saint Philip’s looks forward to welcoming everyone to “First Sunday breakfast” this Sunday, February 5. Breakfast will be served 7:45am-9:00am.

Suggested donation
The suggested donation for adults will be $10.00 but be reduced to $7.00 if a canned good* is brought to support Saint Philip’s food pantry. Children under 12 will eat for free.

Sponsorhips
No one will be turned away for lack of a donation. If you would like to make an additional, anonymous, donation for someone please speak with Mtr Mary on Sunday morning. Conversely, if you know of someone for whom a sponsored breakfast would be helpful, have them speak with Mtr Mary, as well.

Menu
The menu will include mixed fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, hash browns, pancakes with maple syrup, assorted pastries, coffee and juice.

Prize
At 8:30am there will be a drawing. One lucky person will win a $25.00 gift card to Seis Kitchen restaurant in Joesler Village (across from Saint Philip’s church).

Volunteer
These breakfasts are an experiment. Success will require volunteers who help serve the food and assist with clean-up. You can volunteer for all four Sundays, three, two, or just one. Contact parishioner (and Vestry member) Roger Rainbolt if you would like to contribute to the parish community in this way. He can be reached at 520-638-7166.

*Saint Philip’s food pantry needs canned meat, canned fruit, and peanut butter (in non-glass containers). Please be sure to check expiration dates of any donations. Thank you!
