‘Advent Quiet Day’
Bishop Jennifer Reddall will facilitate an “Advent Quiet Day” for the women of the Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross—and any guests. It will take place 10:00am-3:00pm on Saturday, December 9 at the Redemptorist Renewal Center.
There is a $45.00 cost for lunch and coffee. Make checks payable to “SCHC-Greater AZ Chapter” and mail them to parishioner Sharon Bigot, Treasurer, 5701 E. Glenn, Unit 130, Tucson, AZ 85712 by Wednesday, November 15. Also mention any special dietary needs.
Who are the Companions of the Holy Cross? They are women committed to prayer, spiritual growth, and are part of a welcoming faith community of Christian women from all walks of life.
Members are young—and older. They are reverent—and sometimes a little irreverent. They are lively. What they all have in common is a commitment to God to support each other through prayer, service, outreach, spiritual growth, fellowship, and simplicity of life.
