Attend orientation

Mark your calendars and plan to attend orientation for the 2022-2023 formation year for Children, Youth and Families at 11:15am on Sunday, August 28.

Parents, Godparents, children, youth, volunteers, and supporters are all invited.

Attendees will be introduced to the formation leaders, meet other families, and children and youth will have a service opportunity while adults meet. Childcare will be provided for infants and toddlers.

Attendance will ensure you have all you need to make this upcoming program year a great one—as a participant, companion or leader.

All are invited to participate in the entire orientation or attend just a single session.
11:15am-12:30pm
Children and youth will be invited to work on a service project in the Murphey Gallery. The nursery will be available for infants and toddlers.

Parents will be able to visit their childrens’ atrium or classroom. (Details will be shared with parents prior to orientation about where different age groups will meet.) Other attendees are welcome to visit an atrium or classroom at 11:45am.

11:45am
Mtr Taylor will share a preview of the year, the calendar, the vision for the year by the formation leaders and program advisors, ways to help, and finish with a Q&A period.

12:30pm
Lunch will be provided in the Murphey Gallery. Everyone is invited for fellowship, homemade food, and time to get to know one another.

All are invited to the program that follows lunch—especially those interested in serving as second adults and substitutes in classrooms, anyone who wants to help plan mission trips and projects, etc.

During this time, children and youth will be able to play games and participate in activities with adult supervision; nursery care will be provided.

All afternoon sessions will take place in the Children's Chapel.
