Summer choir

Saint Philip’s regular choirs enjoy a break during June, July, August, and part of September. But that doesn’t mean the 10:00am worship service won’t have singers to accompany the congregation.

Tradition is to have a summer choir for the months the regular choir is on vacation.

Beginning on Sunday, June 4, the summer choir will meet at 9:30am in the music center to rehearse for 30 minutes prior to the 10:00am worship service.

If you have ever considered singing with the choir but never tried it, then this summer is the perfect opportunity to explore it. The choir sings a relatively easy anthem each Sunday during the 10:00am service. There is no need to RSVP. Just drop in and join the rehearsal on any given Sunday.
