A success

Saint Philip’s youth and parents’ formation group participated in the Community Food Bank’s Faith Volunteer Day on April 23. The event was organized by Claire Miller, a Beloved in the Desert Service Corps member, who interns with the Food Bank. The event was a huge success!

Volunteers donated 78 volunteer hours valued at $2,262 and helped produce 896 boxes for the senior food program. These food boxes will have a tangible impact on seniors and the volunteer hours represent an appreciable fiscal donation to the non-profit Food Bank.

The youth brought their energy and everyone had a good time doing good!
