Young volunteers

Volunteers from Saint Philip’s continue their effort to contact parishioners who are 80+ years old to learn how they are doing and whether they would like any additional pastoral attention. Most parishioners are contacted by phone.

This pastoral care effort received additional help recently and the new volunteers reached out to parishioners in a different way: Saint Philip’s Sunday School teacher, Susan Gamble, invited her students to write notes and create drawings to mail to parishioners.
