Lunar New Year

It is well known that a lot of joy comes from community, camaraderie, and celebrating life with a meal amongst friends. And despite the ongoing pandemic, Beloved in the Desert (BITD) Corps members are marking celebrations.

For example, last week BITD members celebrated the Lunar New Year (February 1, 2022) by enjoying a meal together. Claire shared how to make homemade dumplings and everyone agreed they were delicious.

Being able to celebrate with others is a gift, and all the Beloved hope you will be able to rejoice with loved ones in the coming weeks, as well.

—Alex Swain, Assistant for Community Life - Beloved in the Desert Episcopal Service Corps
