Diocesan youth

On Friday, October 21, Saint Philip’s hosted 35 people for the Diocesan Youth Lock-In. They gathered first at NightSong (Community Compline) and then met at Saint Philip’s for dinner and conversation about the Beloved Community.

On Saturday, October 22, the youth participated in the Eucharist service at Annual Convention and then a service project. They rounded out their time playing games.

The weekend would not have been possible without the many generous chaperones and hosts: David Adah-Ogoh, Matti Bowen, Jordan Paul, Peggy Rowe, and Jeremy Wickboldt. The Rev’d Jana Sundin, Canon for Children and Youth Ministries at the Diocese, was a pleasure to work with and Saint Philip’s is grateful for the connections it made.
