Little Angels

Tucson’s 33rd annual All Souls Procession weekend (Friday, November 4,-Sunday, November 6) will feature many events, and Saint Philip’s was invited to participate in one of them. This invitation is the result of the parish’s partnership with the Tucson non-profit, Many Mouths One Stomach, which organizes this annual weekend event.

On Saturday, November 5, Little Angels will take place from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Armory Park. This is a family-friendly event that acknowledges and celebrates deceased loved ones from the perspective of a child. Children will have opportunity to participate in art activities such as mask making, decorating sugar skulls, circus arts, and theater. Red Herring Puppet Company will bring magic to the mask-making tables.

Children and families are invited to have their own sunset procession and join Stories that Soar! for dramatic performances of stories about death and grief collected from Tucson school children and told in their own words. Saint Philip’s Saint Nicholas (Youth) Choir will accompany the Sunset procession.
