February art show

The Tucson Pastel Society’s 2022 winter charity show is currently hanging in the Murphey Gallery, and will remain there until Thursday, March 3. Proceeds from sales will benefit Saint Philip’s and the TPS’s Renovation fund.

Pastels were first developed during the Renaissance and gained popularity after their use by Impressionists. Pastels are a dry medium of unlimited, intense colors and are made by combining pure powdered pigments with a binder.

If you haven’t already seen the show, you’re encouraged to visit during its last two weeks.

Masks are required whenever inside the Gallery. Access to the show will be available the following days and times:

10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday
9:00am-1:00pm on Sunday
10:00am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday
