Children & youth

As part of every child’s baptism, we promise to do all in our power to support the young baptizand in their new life in Christ. And well might you ask yourself: how do I keep this promise and make sure these aren’t just words I merely say or repeat on occasion?  What might doing all in my power to support children and youth look like?

Well, one way is to minister with our children and youth!  We always welcome folks who are lovingly committed to nurturing our young peoples’ relationship with Jesus Christ, supporting them in the faith, and amplifying their voices in the life of the church.  One of the many terrific benefits of this ministry is that as we teach, encourage, support, and nurture, we find ourselves taught, encouraged, supported, and nurtured by the Spirit of God already at work in our children and youth: we realize that we all grow together in the garden of God!
