Join anti-racism discussion

It brought tears to the eyes of many in 1971. It has the power to do that still today. Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was chosen as the next book by the Saint Philip’s anti-racism discussion group, and discussion begins this Sunday, June 6.

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was first published in 1971, and “generated shockwaves with its frank and heartbreaking depiction of the systematic annihilation of American Indian tribes across the western frontier.” We will discuss the more recent edition, so if you wish to join the conversation, purchase a printed edition published after 2001, or the Kindle edition published in 2012, which can be purchased here.

Anyone is welcome to join in the antiracism discussion group, which meets each Sunday at 1:00 pm on Zoom (the group will not meet May 30.) To register, please click here.
