Part-time sexton

David Ferguson began working as Saint Philip’s part-time sexton in January 2020. While the campus was closed due to the pandemic, David focused on landscaping and minor maintenance tasks in addition to general cleaning. As in-person worship services resume, David will continue to focus on keeping our campus clean, as well as preparing for the eventual coffee hour. David works evenings Wednesdays-Fridays and on Sunday mornings.

David grew up in Dayton, OH and attended the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church (where he served as an acolyte). He and his wife Heather have lived in Tucson for two years. They watch their grandchildren (ages 5 and 3) weekday mornings and in their free time enjoy playing pickleball and biking. David also enjoys watching his favorite team, Manchester United, play soccer.
