Webinar with Bishop Reddall

These are hard times; many people are experiencing unemployment, homelessness, foreclosure and eviction risk, and health crises.

Deuteronomy 15:4-5 tells us that "there need be no poor people among you," but only if we follow God's commandments (NIV). How do we live into this as people of faith today?

It raises questions about how we meet people's needs. Which needs are best met by public programs and where do service programs make the most sense? How do we organize our mission programs and advocate for policies in ways that are faithful to God's commandments?

Bring your questions at 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 20 and join an online conversation between Bishop Jennifer A. Reddall and Dr Colleen Wessel-McCoy, Neely Visiting Professor of Religion and Public Policy at ASU.
