Prayer site launched

The Saint Philip’s online prayer site launched, as promised, on March 24. As with many new online projects, it warranted some adjustment.

The site—Wednesday Prayers—will exist as a Group of the parish Facebook page, and was created to serve anyone seeking prayer, especially those without a worship home, or those discarded by the religion of preference.

The goal is to make this available to as many people as possible. One adjustment we made in that regard is to change its status from a “private group” of our main parish Facebook page, to a “public group,” so that the invitation can go out wide and far.

We need your help in getting this Group publicized far and wide in order that we can reach the greatest number of people. Click this link, which will take you to the Group, then share with your Facebook friends.

To leave a prayer, enter as a comment. To communicate you are praying for someone’s concerns, “like” their comment.

This site is not a replacement for our current Parish Prayer processes, nor for the work of the Daughters of the King. It could be that we find a local prayer on the Facebook group, and that is fine. That same person—if he or she wishes—can contact Fr Peter Helman to be added to the Parish list, also. Fr Peter’s e-address is peter.helman@stphilipstucson.org
