Presidents Day

Presidents Day was originally created in 1885 to commemorate George Washington's birthday, but the holiday (which occurs on the third Monday in February) has expanded over time to honor all U.S. presidents.

Most local and federal government offices will be closed and some services (such as commercial and residential trash and recycling collection) will be delayed by one day. Saint Philip’s campus will be closed on Monday, February 21, and staff and volunteers will take the day off.
