Kitchen on a Mission

Saint Philip’s has a certified commercial kitchen!

This is a huge accomplishment that required much time and effort from many volunteers. It included developing strategic plans for expanded ministry, creating partnerships, writing grants, and updating the kitchen.

A commercial kitchen will allow Saint Philip’s outreach, hospitality, and pastoral care ministries to expand how they serve and who they serve.

If you are interested in learning more, then mark your calendar and attend one of two orientation sessions:

1:00pm on Sunday, January 16 or
1:00pm on Sunday, January 23

Both gatherings will be held in the parish kitchen and Murphey Galleries.

A very large thank you to the different volunteer groups that made certification possible: Feeding Ministries Working Group, the Kitchen on a Mission Planning Team, the Buildings & Grounds Committee, and the Vestry.
