Habitat for Humanity

At 10:15am-11:00am this Sunday, November 21 in the gallery (and on Zoom) learn about the non-profit Habitat for Humanity. This forum will provide opportunity to discover how you can support a neighbor, acquire a new skill, contribute to affordable housing in Tucson, or learn more about Beloved in the Desert.

The forum will be led by Saint Philip’s former rector, The Rev’d John Kitagawa, and current Beloved Corps member, Maddie Foley.

Fr John has been involved with the non-profit for many years as a Board member, president and worksite leader. Maddie is the third Beloved in the Desert Corps member to intern as a Volunteer Coordinator. Over the past 2.5 years, Beloved members have contributed 3,200 hours to Habitat for Humanity.

The forum will be a hybrid gathering, so if you can’t attend in person, you may participate via Zoom. To register, click here.
