'The Butler' discussion
Meet God at the Movies will prove an ideal event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. At 6:30pm Monday, January 18, the group will convene via Zoom to discuss The Butler.

With a star-studded cast, The Butler is a dramatization of the true story of Cecil Gaines (portrayed by Forest Whitaker), who served eight presidents during his tenure as a butler at the White House. The civil rights movement, Vietnam, and other major events affect this man's life, family, and American society. More information on the movie here.
Discussion begins with overall responses. We then move to a guided theological discussion looking at creation, sin, repentance, and redemption.
