Come, ye faithful people…

"Almighty and gracious Father, we give thee thanks for the fruits of the earth in their season and for the labors of those who harvest them. Make us, we beseech thee, faithful stewards of thy great bounty, for the provision of our necessities and the relief of all who are in need, to the glory of thy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen." (Collect for Thanksgiving Day, The Book of Common Prayer, page 194)

While we are sadly unable to gather as a parish family this year on Thanksgiving Day to enjoy the gifts of fellowship and delicious food, we lift our hearts to God with gratitude for the incomparable gift of God's love that knits us together in one family in Jesus Christ. Saint Philip's will mark the holiday with a service of Holy Communion, offered with special intentions at 12:15pm on Thursday, November 26. The service will be live-streamed from the Chapel of the Nativity at 12:15 pm, and available to view at Saint Philip's Facebook page or the parish website. Please join us as we bid God's grace to transfigure our lives ever more fully into the image of his Son Christ our Lord.

On Thanksgiving morning, you will find Morning Prayer faithfully available at 8:30am; and the Morning Prayer and 12:15pm Eucharist schedule will be maintained on Friday and Saturday, November 27 and 28.
