Giving thanks...always

There’s no doubt that this Thanksgiving Day will be unlike any other in recent memory. With a resurgence of COVID-19 across the United States, most hopes for travel are dashed. “Local” and “small” gatherings will be the norm for many this year.

While we are sadly unable to gather as a parish family this year on Thanksgiving Day to enjoy the gifts of fellowship and delicious food, we lift our hearts to God with gratitude for the incomparable gift of God's love that knits us together in one family in Jesus Christ.

Wherever you are, and whatever plans you may have, join other parishioners for a service of Holy Communion, offered with special intentions at 12:15pm on Thursday, November 26. The service will be live-streamed from the Chapel of the Nativity at 12:15 pm, and available to view at Saint Philip's Facebook page or the parish website.

On Thanksgiving morning, you will find Morning Prayer faithfully available at 8:30am; and the Morning Prayer and 12:15pm Eucharist schedule will be maintained on Friday and Saturday, November 27 and 28.
