Sign up to give Gifts of Love

Greetings, Saint Philip's in the Hills!

My name is Luke Pearson, and I am one of the Beloved in the Desert members this year. For my work site I have been placed as the new intern at Interfaith Community Services, and it has been a wonderful experience working there thus far. Each week here at ICS, both the staff and volunteers serve the members in the Tucson community who are facing daily forms of poverty, including food insecurity, loneliness, and financial crisis. I have felt blessed and humbled to be a part of an organization that aims to tackle these issues in our city and help all of those who seek assistance toward a life filled with health, hope and self-sufficiency. In addition, I am excited to announce that I have been given the responsibility of leading the Gifts of Love program for ICS this holiday season.

The ICS Gifts of Love program helps struggling families to acquire gifts during the holiday season. During these unprecedented times of a global pandemic, we have seen a tremendous increase of families in need living in Tucson. The Gifts of Love program aims to match pre-screened families with generous individuals and interfaith organizations/partners to provide forms of tangible joy for these families.

Will you join us in making a difference this holiday season?

You can register to provide gifts for children, teens, and senior citizens between the dates of November 1 and December 4. Please be sure to drop off all items on your person’s wish-list no later than December 17. Here is the link for online recipient selection. Please note, you will not be able to access the Saint Philip's drive until November 1.

We are also accepting donations and would appreciate any contributions to this program. If you would like to donate please use this email ink.

If you have any questions or would like to learn more please call our main office at 520-297-6049 or visit our website www.icstucson.org.

Blessings, Luke
