Listening for the Light: Photography as Meditative Practice

This is the first of a series of one-day workshops on learning how to on use your camera as a tool for meditation and spiritual growth. The instructor, Skip McDonald, is a professional landscape photographer and a parishioner here at Saint Philip’s. His lecture series, “Writing with Light”, has been presented frequently at the Canyon Ranch Resort here in Tucson, onboard the Queen Mary II, as well as to other academic venues across the Pacific Northwest. Interested shutterbugs can sign up in the church office.

Skip’s seminars are limited to a maximum of 12 participants in order give more attention to each attendee. And, yes, cell phone cameras are just fine!

When: Saturday, October 12th from 8:30AM-3PM (with catered lunch break)
Where: Music Center (On the north end of Saint Philip’s campus)
Tuition: $95 payable to Photo Centering  (Scholarships available)
