A special collection

Saint Philip’s First Sunday Drive alternates between collecting items for the parish’s food pantry and Tucson nonprofits.

On Sunday, May 5, the First Sunday Drive will collect diapers for children and adults for the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona to distribute.

Some fast facts

  • 1 in 4 children born in Southern Arizona does not have access to diapers because of the parents’ economic status.

  • Over 25 million American adults suffer from incontinence; 22% of diapers distributed are for adults

  • Food Stamps and WIC cannot be used to purchase diapers
