Aliyah Powe has played the violin since she was 3 and also plays the piano. She currently studies with TSO violinist David Rife. She has won numerous local competitions, has been a member of TJS and TPYO, and participates in the TSO Young Composer’s Project. Aliyah plays in a string trio with her older sister and brother. They perform for numerous events, such as the Academy for Cancer Wellness, Raytheon, US Air Force,  Mayor’s Council, GMWA Tucson Chapter, the TSO Just for Kids concerts. They have also played for many churches and church related events in the U.S. and in Canada.
