Joshua Thai is a 12 year old violinist from Tucson, AZ. He started violin lessons at age 7 with Wynne Rife and made his solo debut performing at 2 concerts with the Arizona Symphonic Winds in 2017. He has entered several solo and concerto competitions in Arizona and Colorado and won honorable mention at ages 10 and 11. He was invited to play as guest violinist with the Tucson Youth Philharmonic for their spring gala concert in 2018. He also plays with the Quest for Education and Arts Orchestra under the baton of David Rife. He also plays piano, participates in choral singing, tap dances, and performs in drama productions.
