Grupo Riken has been delighting audiences in the Tucson area since 2009, including at the Puerto Rico Benefit Concert held at Saint Philip’s last October. They specialize in jazz/folk music from the Caribbean and Latin Ameria. Their unique sound comes from blending the guitar with little-known intruments like the Puerto Rican Cuatro, Peruvian Cajon, Afro-Caribbean percussion bongos, congas, and guiros.
