Delve deeper into the season of Advent by taking a fresh look at the Annunciation and Nativity of Jesus through the eyes of his mother Mary. Using guided storytelling, reflection questions, art and music, we will seek to gain new perspectives on the familiar events which surrounded Jesus’ arrival into the world. A simple lunch will be provided.

Retreat Leader: Shirin McArthur is a lay minister who holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Boston University School of Theology and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Shalem Institute in Washington, DC. Shirin works as a spiritual director, retreat leader, editor, and writer. She has been leading retreats for more than 25 years. Learn more about her at shirinmcarthur.com. 

The retreat is free and open to the public. Donations of any amount are most welcome to defray costs.
